Meet Sam's Team

The campaign to elect Sam Brownback as Kansas’ next Governor is uniting Kansans from across the state.



Former Kansas Senator and Republican Presidential Nominee Bob Dole and United States Senator Pat Roberts head up his national campaign committee.

Each of the Kansas Congressional Districts are co-chaired by the 2008 Republican nominees Rep. Jerry Moran (1st), Rep. Lynn Jenkins (2nd), former State Senator Nick Jordan (3rd) and Rep. Todd Tiahrt (4th).

Sam’s Statewide Committee is led by City Councilman Reynaldo Mesa of Garden City; John Petersen of Overland Park; City Councilwoman Sue Schlapp of Wichita; and Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh of Topeka.

The Brownback for Governor Sedgwick County and Johnson County Steering Committees are led by experienced local leaders and business owners. Those serving on the committees include:
